The German American Chamber of Commerce is
pleased to announce the seventh
Transatlantic Program - Young Technology
Leaders delegation focused on "Automotive R&D." TAP-YTL
will offer 12 select participants the chance to explore cutting-edge
developments and innovations in automobile design and production during
an intensive, 8-day trip throughout Germany from November 10-18, 2013.
The German automotive industry is characterized by strong, high-value
technologies and the skillful adaptation of cutting-edge technologies
that have proved very successful in the global economy and made Germany a
world leader in the automotive market. With its newly introduced
"Lust auf Technik" (Passion for Technology) concept, Germany is
fully committed to supporting innovation and research. Major OEMs and
companies throughout the supply chain play a key role in maintaining
Germany's leading position and stay at the forefront of R&D by
working closely with research institutions and universities.
Participants will:
- Visit key
players in the German automotive industry, leading
research institutions, and personally
meet engineers that are driving the next generation
of German automotive innovations.
- They'll
learn from industry
experts as they expand on such topics as advanced
materials, light-weighting, mechatronics systems, e-mobility, and
advanced powertrain systems.
The program itinerary is in development, please check our website for frequent updates!
